The more I look at this picture, the more I love it!
It's an angle shades moth. I picked a few of them out a little while ago (on my own blog). They come in every colour from brown through the greeny-yellow you have to the bright green I had. Destroy! Destroy!
Yes, I concur with the above blogger! kill kill kill, squish it!

Hi Ryan. I'm growing verbascum just to attract verbascum moth caterpillars - I love them, they're so colourful. Cheers, Simon
These Verbascum seeded themselves in my raspberries. No idea where they came from but they are more than welcome!I quite like caterpillars and I usually leave them well alone. The blackbird does have a liking for them though!
I found a brown one today on a neighboring verbascum!
